The role the mass media play in adopting the official line of the US government was understood decades ago. It had nothing to do with family or friends and smoke filled room conspiracies, and everything to do with the economics of a media that sells audiences to advertisers, not content to subscribers, and the inevitable reliance upon "official sources" in order to effectively do news, thus making the media an outlet for the ruling party's program.

If you're on a rant that the media is pro-Obama, not mentioning MSNBC is pretty much fail.

So is your logic in this instance, because he was mentioning specific connections to Obama, and MSNBC is not a station which has those in the same way that these others do, that doesn't mean that the OP is saying that MSNBC isn't biased towards Obama.
