ISFP, again. its been years since i've done one, and i'm still the same as i've always been.

lol @ "The Crackpot" :p

"The Artist

ISFPs live in the world of sensation possibilities. They are keenly in tune with the way things look, taste, sound, feel and smell. They have a strong aesthetic appreciation for art, and are likely to be artists in some form, because they are unusually gifted at creating and composing things which will strongly affect the senses. They have a strong set of values, which they strive to consistently meet in their lives. They need to feel as if they're living their lives in accordance with what they feel is right, and will rebel against anything which conflicts with that goal. They're likely to choose jobs and careers which allow them the freedom of working towards the realization of their value-oriented personal goals.

ISFPs tend to be quiet and reserved, and difficult to get to know well. They hold back their ideas and opinions except from those who they are closest to. They are likely to be kind, gentle and sensitive in their dealings with others. They are interested in contributing to people's sense of well-being and happiness, and will put a great deal of effort and energy into tasks which they believe in.

ISFPs have a strong affinity for aesthetics and beauty. They're likely to be animal lovers, and to have a true appreciation for the beauties of nature. They're original and independent, and need to have personal space.

ISFPs are action-oriented individuals. They are "doers", and are usually uncomfortable with theorizing concepts and ideas, unless they see a practical application. They learn best in a "hands-on" environment, and consequently may become easily bored with the traditional teaching methods, which emphasize abstract thinking. "

The times I took this test I got INTJ on one occasion and ENTJ on another. So I'm probably somewhere in the middle on the introvert-extrovert scale (I tend to score between 40-60% on these kinds of tests.)

Indeed. Seeing as it was put together by a layperson, and based loosly on Jun, and is an excellent example of the Forer effect, among other problems, yeah, it's pretty worthless.

What the heck is an extravert?

I will answer your question first. An extravert is one who contains, and expands, rather than expend energy with social events with an extremely broad amount of acquaintances. Basically, then are able to communicate very easily, and are quite ready to do said action very quickly.

Introverted (I) 88%/ Extraverted (E) 12%

I am an INTP (and I'm only 16). An egghead, if you will. A thinker, potential for an Isaac Newton or Albert Einstein. I am indeed very creative, a super-speed calculator on a regular basis, love to correct people, thinks obsessively, extremely skilled at math (I like quantum warping and fuzzy math), I never let sympathy effect decisions, and I seem to attract INTJs. Oh, **** here comes another one...

Extraverted (E) 61% Introverted (I) 39%
Intuitive (N) 64% Sensing (S) 36%
Feeling (F) 75% Thinking (T) 25%
Perceiving (P) 64% Judging (J) 36%

Personality Page Thing wrote:General: ENFPs are both "idea"-people and "people"-people, who see everyone and everything as part of an often bizarre cosmic whole. They want to both help (at least, their own definition of "help") and be liked and admired by other people, on bo th an individual and a humanitarian level. They are interested in new ideas on principle, but ultimately discard most of them for one reason or another.

Social/Personal Relationships: ENFPs have a great deal of zany charm, which can ingratiate them to the more stodgy types in spite of their unconventionality. They are outgoing, fun, and genuinely like people. As SOs/mates they are warm, affectionate (l ots of PDA), and disconcertingly spontaneous. However, attention span in relationships can be short; ENFPs are easily intrigued and distracted by new friends and acquaintances, forgetting about the older ones for long stretches at a time. Less mature ENFPs may need to feel they are the center of attention all the time, to reassure them that everyone thinks they're a wonderful and fascinating person.

ENFPs often have strong, if unconvential, convictions on various issues related to their Cosmic View. They usually try to use their social skills and contacts to persuade people gently of the rightness of these views; his sometimes results in their negle cting their nearest and dearest while flitting around trying to save the world.

I__P

On the test I think I even got 50:50 for the F/T part. I read a little about the various types and I see parts of myself in all the I__P types, but very little, if any, of myself in the E__J types. But then that's nothing I didn't already know.

I always get INTJ, which seems about right. But, as someone already said, I'm the one taking the test, so the results should match the way I view myself. I don't know how someone would score me.

Also, didn't some poster a while back try to find whether there was correlation between this and Political Compass results? What ever happened to that?

ISTJ, the result of all awesome cool badasses.

It's more moderate than every other time I've taken it, though, I'm basically in the middle for just about everything now. My most extreme lean was 22% towards introvert.

yes you can water down human actions to how they react with other people, sure go ahead and stick a big two-way divide introvert and extravert, yep then make subdivides when people think you're not being serious.
works like a charm everytime.

Ta-dah, your personality type is INTP!

Introverted (I) 100% Extraverted (E) 0%
Intuitive (N) 73% Sensing (S) 27%
Thinking (T) 80% Feeling (F) 20%
Perceiving (P) 77% Judging (J) 23%

INTP types are quiet, thoughtful, analytical individuals who enjoy spending long periods of time on their own, working through problems and forming solutions. They are curious about systems and how things work. Consequently, they are frequently found in careers such as science, architecture, and law. INTPs tend to be less at ease in social situations or in the "caring professions," although they enjoy the company of those who share their interests. They also tend to be impatient with the bureaucracy, the rigid hierarchies, and the politics prevalent in many professions. They prefer to work informally with others as equals.[14]

INTPs organize their understanding of any topic by articulating principles, and they are especially drawn to theoretical constructs. Having articulated these principles for themselves, they can demonstrate remarkable skill in explaining complex ideas to others in simple terms, especially in writing. On the other hand, their ability to grasp complexity may also lead them to provide overly detailed explanations of "simple" ideas, and listeners may judge that the INTP makes things more difficult than they are. To the INTP, however, this is incomprehensible: They are merely presenting all the information.[14]

I'd say it's quite fitting for me.
