Just wanted to ask a simple question.
What would the world be like under an Axis victory in WWII?
I was wondering this after I defeated a couple friends in Axis and Allies while I was playing Nazi Germany. A random question, but a potentilly interesting one to explore.
So join me in discussing how the world would be different if the Axis won? What would be negative aspects? Would there be positive aspects in the long term?
I believe the early years after a Axis victory would be pretty terrible. I mean, the holocaust would continue in Europe and Japanese atrocities would continue in Asia. Communism I believe would essentially be crushed with the defeat of the Soviets by the German War Machine. Which some would argue as good or bad depending. But after a passage of time. I believe that by modern day things may not be that....bad. The most radical leaders would have died off and be replaced by much more moderate leaders. I do not believe their would have been a Cd War because I feel like Germany and Japan would be far more cooperative than the Americans and Soviets were. The world could very much be closer to a world government do to the massive Empires of Jermany and Japan and so Imperialist would be pleased I suppose. ut there might also be guerilla movements in occupied nation such as Russia, China maybe even America. Or would we over time come to accept the forign rule?
