Ok. Lets go to Acts 10, shall we? During this time, the Church was argueing amongst itself with other "Jewish Christians" about how Gentiles should follow the law, as Christianity was increasing in popularity, especially among Roman soldiers stationed around Israel. Peter has a vision in which God tells him that he has made clean was what previously unclean. And with this he first told a soldier named Cornelius that he tells the 'good news'. And that is why Christian no longer have to follow the law (or in that mindset, Gentile Jews no longer have to follow the law). They much merely fear Him and do what acceptable to Him.
It's not because of your semantics.
not trying to be pretentious T.T sorry.
"Gentile Jews?" there is no such thing as a Gentile Jew.
To any other Jewish person you would have been correct. However, that what they would have been known as to the Jews whom followed the Christ, because they themselves still considered themselves to be Jewish and not "Christian".
