If the Commonwealth Realms would unite to form a unified Commonwealth it would by far be the number one Superpower.

The UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Jamaica and some Caribbean islands? At best a great power certainly no power to contend with China, India, the US or the EU. Maybe not even Brazil and Russia.

The Commonwealth Realms are countries whose Head of State is Queen Elizabeth II. The Commonwealth of Nations is a related yet different organisation of a much larger scale. Hence the confusion.

Perfectly understandable. I wasn't sure myself whether Tairoth talked about the Realms or all the Nations since the idea that Realms on their own could be by far the number one superpower seemed rather ... Ambitious.

I would say South Africa, India, China, Brazil, Indonesia, US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Japan, and Argentina and Norway would be the superpowers in the world in the year 2050 in my opinion.

My fault. I forgot to add that I'm kinda naive / optimistic. Let's just say I really want to see much of the values I believe in represented by some of the superpowers in the future. And I think that the EU is the candidate to adopt those values most probably. Maybe also Brazil.
