I'm not sure China will be able to maintain its race to superpower status unless it becomes a democracy. When it does that and abandons the one-party state system then it can definitely become a new superpower.

The States, however problematic their economy might be, have A LOT of power in their hands, enough to use for a steady recovery and to get out of this mess eventually.

Russia's population is stable, they have a very sound economy which has nowhere to go but upwards. This said, I'd say Russia and the States, although Russia will be technologically more advanced.

The UN does not have any powers on the matters I spoke of. The UN borrows power form its member states, the EU has been given permanent control over power outsourced from its member states.
