Except nothing, I don't consider that a worthwhile distinction.

Bully for you.

You've expressed interest in buying a product and using it for it's intended purpose, that's not great satire.

It's intended purpose is to shoot it. I don't own a gun.

Shooting the likeness of an"ex-girlfriend" is rather crazy.

What? You've never wanted to pop a bitch of an ex before?

I can honestly say I haven't.

I haven't, primarily because I'm not a violent maniac.

Besides which, there's a distinction between wanting and doing.

No, because I have never had an ex.

Nor do I think I would shoot her if she left me. (Or rather harm anyone in any way).

To be fair, the one that comes to mind tried to stab me first.

You never said you didn't own a gun and if you had it's still a reasonable assumption that you intended to buy one. If you had said "Sweet, I'm gonna drive in the carpool lane" or "Beats the hell out of a body pillow" then that would have worked.

No... I have two ex, one of whom I still hang out with and another one whom I talk with occasionally. I would not shoot either of them.

Oddly, and Nana can vouch for this, I have had a girlfriend try to stab me before.

It still doesn't merit more of a reaction than "fuck off and go away" plus a police report. Shooting a mockup of an exgirlfriend (or exboyfriend) is creepy as fuck.

No it doesn't. One mentally pastes the ex into the model of the ex, if they didn't there would be no point. Psychologically it's pretty similar to doing. Yes nobody gets hurt and in that sense it's not as bad as actually killing your ex, but it's dangerous.

"I am frustrated and will express that frustration in a non destructive way."

is a far cry from

"I am absolutely going to kill my ex girlfriend."

In what sense is blowing up a mannequin "non-destructive"?

If I call 911 I'm fairly certain what I communicated with, and what will be dispatched, are police officers.

In that mannequins are not people.

Neither are buildings. And yet, calling in CAS on it is a destructive action.

Very true, but I can understand why one would want it.

Myself, I'll just shoot clays, or build another boat.

That makes it non-harmful to humans not non-destructive. It still does not explain why you would want to blow up figure of someone you were with for months (or years).
