By establishing a theocracy you destroy the "freedom of religion". I'm Christian, but a total theocracy is the wrong answer. Punishing people and harming them "in the name of Christ" is still sin. God never commanded us to "burn the heretics". He told us to spread the gospel to all places. If it falls on deaf ears we cannot force them to be saved, as their hearts will not be in it and they will despise the religion forced upon them.
