If you want to argue that some elements in the Tea Party have been "racist", so be it, but people like Adam Kokesh are totally justified in their recent opposition to the administration's attempts at instituting more oppressive gun control laws.
I'm actually Scottish but part of a small group of people who wish to see gun control laws repealed here.
Your opposition to one of the freedoms that makes your country great among the first world nations is something you have in common with a lot of other socialists and so I made an assumption. It wasn't intended to be an insult. It was just me pointing out that I could recognise your type from your accusations of racism for no particular reason along with your praise of the Obama administrations attempt to take guns from decent law-abiding people.
See, there you go doing it again. Nothing I've said would be construed by an ordinary person as "racist" but in the eyes of someone like yourself, just being white and opposing something a black guy does must make me racist, even if the black guy's actions are reprehensible.

NRA: Background checks and a registry are oppressive! What we really need to do is just create a federal registry of people with mental disorders instead!
Cause, you know, the NRA cares about liberty.I'm actually Scottish but part of a small group of people who wish to see gun control laws repealed here.

*sigh*
You don't know anything about America, what made us "great", or what the Obama administration's actual proposed legislation is. Now please go play with your toys so the grown ups with actual informed opinions can keep talking.See, there you go doing it again. Nothing I've said would be construed by an ordinary person as "racist" but in the eyes of someone like yourself, just being white and opposing something a black guy does must make me racist, even if the black guy's actions are reprehensible.
You spew all these uninformed racist talking points. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it might very well be a racist.
Obama has expanded, not reduced gun rights

The Christian Science Monitor ran a very interesting piece in September comparing Barack Obama and Mitt Romney's gun control records.
In making that comparison, CSM pointed out Obama has only ever signed laws expanding gun owners' rights.

Yeah, I think I'll stop replying to anyone who calls me a "racist" from now on.
I support the Second Amendment and don't think very much of the Obama administration. I don't want to lynch anyone.

Then guess what chuckles, YOU SHOULD SUPPORT OBAMA.
He's only ever expanded gun rights.
Congratulations on failing at any sort of critical thinking.

The opposition from libertarians and so on comes from the administration's reaction to the recent school shootings and so on. It's what they fear will come next, not what has happened so far, that is causing them to react in this way.

You apparently haven't been listening to him for the last four months.
National Park Carry is all well and good. Advocating for an Assault Weapons ban? Rather changes the paradigm on gun rights I'd say. But hey, let's just not pay attention to what politicians say...

So you concede it's a baseless and thus completely irrational fear? I love this shit, every four years the NRA convinces their supporters that the EVIL DEMOCRATS are gonna take your guns, so the gun fetishists buy up ammo like mad and stock up on their pissant little rifles with the absurd fantasy that their pea shooters will stand against the might of the US military.

Yes, how dare he follow public opinion on something this important. How dare he advocate for something that over 90% of his country supports, in increasing background checks.
Well, fuck. I guess we're just going to keep going around this teacup ride.

HEY MAN IF WE JUST KILL ENOUGH FEDERAL EMPLOYEES BESIDES NO ONE WILL CATCH US AND THE MILITARY WONT GET INVOLVED

Right. I did make that comment. Because I am able to comprehend issues related to race.
You then disputed that claim, meaning you cannot comprehend issues related to race.

So now you admit that he is pushing for new gun control measures? Also, I wasn't aware that they had held a referendum on the issue?
