It's one of the steps in the recruitment process.

I'd pick Rand Paul, however, because I think Clinton is far too close to the inner workings of Washington to bring real change to the office. Furthermore, I personally favour Rand Paul's fresh politics and radical economics to Clinton's politics. Both seem socially liberal but Clinton is closer to what I - as a Briton - would identify as socially liberal.
All that said, I would really love to see this actually happen in 2016 (though I very much doubt it will - for either candidate).

In any case, we'll have to see. I want to wait until debates, choosing of running mates, etc. to decide who will get my vote. Most likely Hilary.

Just to point out, here in Iowa, the groundwork for the many campaigns is started just after the midterms - sometimes even before.

Possibly. I know she addressed the Iowa delegation's breakfast at the 2012 DNC. And a certain GOP candidate from 2012 who has an unfortunate name association with a sex act problem was supposed to have been the keynote speaker at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition's spring kickoff earlier this month. (He was hospitalized and couldn't make it. I was soooo dissapointed!)

Lets also not forget the fact that Nationstates is not a scientific poll, and that many people aren't going to even bother voting in said poll because its fucking 2013 and there is literally no reason for us to talk about who might run in 2016 at this point.
