2. Yeah. I'm pretty sure they are as long as it doesn't disrupt school activities.

1. Another point I can agree upon, I oppose enforced atheism, not secular systems as a whole, its just there have been some cases where administrators have gone out of their way to oppose individual religious prayers.
2. How do you define disrupt?

1 and 2.

I don't know what your experiences were, but at my high school people usually prayed silently or under their breath at certain times (before tests, usually) and disruption would be defined as breaking out into prayer during the middle of a lesson, speaking in tongues during a lesson, etc.

But school administrators going on power trips are, unfortunately, a common occurrence in the US. If you're trying to form a bible club that would meet at your school but does not require school sponsorship, I believe you have the law on your side.

Yes, please. Hillary or Joe will wipe the floor with him. Do you think Hispanics are that stupid, that they'll for the guy just because he shares a certain ethnicity with them? That's like running Sarah Palin because, you know, all the disappointed Hillary Clinton supporters would just flock to the GOP.

Is that why McCain chose her? I agree, though. Just like Rand Paul, Marco Rubio doesn't have a chance in hell at winning the nomination.

One thing I've been wondering as of late is whether he is considered a Tea Partier. He's always seemed too moderate for those nutjobs. Relatively speaking of course.

My opinion is in complete agreement with the law. People should pray wherever they want as long as their prayer isn't a massive disruption or isn't designed to shame me or any other non-believers publicly.

And bible clubs are fine as long as they aren't school-sponsored and seen as a state endorsement of religion.

If recent events are of any significants, than I have little doubt in my mind that she's running. All the evidence I see points to that conclusion.
Probably the largest argument for this is that if she were planning to settle down, she would be no where near as politically active as she is now. Of course, under attenuating circumstances, she might not run, but the chances of that or insignificant.

It would be interesting. Max Baucus has decided not to run for re-election in 2014, so Schweitzer might go for the Senate seat.

Point me towards those verses. I'll be waiting.

Matthew 6:19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Matthew 6:24“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Matthew 19:21 Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
Matthew 19:24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."

Luke 6:20Looking at his disciples, he said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
Luke 6:24“But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort.
Luke 18:22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
Luke 18:25 Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
Luke 21 1 And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury. 2 And He saw a poor widow putting in two small copper coins. 3 And He said, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all of them; 4 for they all out of their surplus put into the offering; but she out of her poverty put in all that she had to live on.”

Mark 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."

Then of course, there's also the whole bit about "render unto Caesar", the speech John the Baptist gave which Jesus attended just before his baptism, and the myriad of other exultations of poverty, sharing, and the rich being wrong throughout both testaments.
