It depends what they are like, I don't generally find them that great company. Though its probably got more to do with social class and background shaping their personality's than with anything else. To me its more a question of comfort and for whatever reason some people like him can't handle being around gay people mentally.

I am a Roman Catholic. I am going off of what my church says about being homosexual. It is not wrong to feel that way. God gives everyone temptations, it becomes a sin when a homosexual acts on his feelings. God gives everyone challenges in life. Like my brother can't talk. There are all chalanges that God gives for different reasons.

Except, any God that would make somebody with an innate homosexual attraction, and then arbitrarily, without any sane justification, declare it to be a sin, is a God that should not be worshipped.

If his reasoning was something other than 'I don't like gays so if a friend was gay I would stop being friends with them because of this,' I might not have a problem with it.
