Give me a source where Pope Benedict the sixteenth says that Evolution is a fact.

Theistic evolution is still evolution sans abiogenesis.

Theistic Evolution is a separate branch from the godless version of the Theory of Evolution. Different branch on the same tree.

He is of course still very ignorant of the topic but you can't expect much else from the Pope.

Evolution is not fact. We did not evolve from bacteria. I believe in evolution as in species adapting to their enviorment, but I view the theory that we evolved from single celled organisms that magically popped up in the water that magically popped up on the surface of a hunk of rock as untrue.

See everything I just struck out? That's not evolution, that's your misconception of evolution.
And we did evolve from single celled organisms as did all other complex organisms on this planet, this is fact.

So you rather believe that we just magically popped into existence at the whim of some magical being?

Seems legit.

Seems more likely than everything exploded out of nothing and everything was so perfectly fine tuned that if one thing was even the least bit different, it would be impossible for us to exist.

So you don't understand the Big Bang as well as evolution. Good to know.

It's a private school, so the boss has more leeway than in a public school.

It is probably a civil rights violation, but it would be handy if we had some legislation with teeth to prevent this crap.

Sexuality is not listed on those 'Equal Opportunity Employer' signs you see at businesses.
It is still very legal to fire someone for their sexuality in most states.

The school didn't fire her. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus did.

And the school had nothing to do with Mother Church?

To use an analogy...

Suggesting that the school administrators fired her, when it was in fact the district administrators, would be like suggesting a floor manager fired a sales associate, when it was in fact the store manager.

It is incorrect to say that the school fired her, and it places the blame onto the wrong party.
