Seems legit. Does this mean if we do "Economic recovery dances" the economy will get better?

No. Because my left wing foreigner arse will use my evil magik to further erode the UK economy.

Admitting you fucked up is hard enough as an average person, if your entire political career rests upon whether or not you fuck up, it's even harder to admit you fucked up.

Considering how a lot of MP's that have fucked up that are still MP's, they don't have that much to worry about.

You know World War 2? You think it was caused by Hitler? Wrong. Edward Heath is responsible. Think that rats are too blame for the bubonic plague? nope. Heath again.

Especially in the Uk's case as their debt isn't even that bad. The austerity policies of nations such as the UK that are not that bad off is hurting the chances of recovery of nations like Spain and Portugal who are actually in great trouble. When the UK implements austerity it causes less to be imported thus making the periphery economies even worse off.

The same thing's essentially happening here. We have a premier who keeps saying we should spend more money in order to get the economy going, but leaves us with absolutely nothing after taxes - which are, by the way, rising again this year - and passes austerity measures that damage businesses, schools, universities, hospitals and a lot more. It seems a lot of countries in Europe have become vessels adrift between complete collapse and feigned recovery.

He seems to have missed the part where the government spends money, which employs people, who can then go out and ... oh, never mind.

No. And in response to the topic, rather than the general case - No. Osborne really doesn't understand how to run an economy. Or, indeed, anything more than an egg and spoon race.

Neither will spending money that we don't have or taxing businesses which will, eventually -with a punch of salt- help the economy. Basically there is no good way out of this, we have the austerity route, we just have to put up with it, It's not a nice route, but that's what up top have decided, if we went the other way, we'll be pointing out the flaws of that system. Basically we're all in for a bumpy ride that is probably out of the control of anyone in Westminster, but in the hands of the City and Canary Wharf (no, I'm not saying banks alone will sort this out, but its symbolic)

Calling a Godwin is a way of saying the post has posted an empty post. A one-line reference to Hitler in a thread on the modern British economy is empty. *snarky snarky*

Well, quite. But he does at least understand how it's run. He just isn't very good at it. Clegg, on the other hand, is increasingly proficient with his Etch-a-sketch.

It's not hard to understand how an egg and spoon race is run, he just shouldn't participate.
