yus. McD food is plastic. Everybody knew that like 5ever. Also that it's toxic, and extremely dangerous to health.
That's why, now for over 15 years, I haven't touched any fast food (not including frozen meals or chinese food, which is still plastic, but at least it rots, so it contains biological ingredients). And also Cola. (Not including local organic herbal cola brand. I especially avoid the red truck brand, which is (phosphoric) acid (pH = 2.33 compared to hydrochloric acid, pH = 1), plain and simple.)

I'm still obese, but that's only lack of exercise, and when I hit the gym, fat simply melts away from me :)

Not really, though.

As above, honey doesn't rot. Is it plastic? Distilled spirits are also good forever.
And also Cola. (Not including local organic herbal cola brand. I especially avoid the red truck brand, which is (phosphoric) acid (pH = 2.33 compared to hydrochloric acid, pH = 1), plain and simple.)

Orange juice is also acidic. Your stomach is full of hydrochloric acid. Your blood is slightly basic(usually). BEWARE!

Eh, I obviously wouldn't eat that particular burger but that won't stop me from eating fastfood either. If I only cared about how healthy something is I couldn't eat or drink way too many things. Alcohol or greasy food for example.

My question really is, why are we allowing our fast food places to put this sort of thing in their food?

It's not that we should be getting rid of fast food, it's that we should be regulating what goes in it. Like any other restaurant.

My brother did the same experiment, though I think it was entirely by accident. His McDonalds cheeseburger is only about 8 years old, though. So no, not an aberration.

I am quite used to eating my food cold, in some cases I even like it better that way.

If it wasn't dry and indeed bacteria/mold (Well, noticeably anyway) didn't touch it I might give it a try.
