Well I dunno what Commies would really say, I am just basing stuff on stereotypes.
It's not bad. Although to be honest I prefer when you talk Castilian.

Bah, call it Spanish.
I guess that's because it is my native tongue. Sounds more natural.
Nuuu. It's Castilian. Or Castiliano in Castiliano.
Probably that. My mum sounds Aussie Gringa when she speaks Castilian sometimes, although over the years she has developed a neutral accent when in to speaking. And when she speaks English, she has the Aussie accent, especially when she orders food or services. Lol.

Calling it Castellano. It's simpler to refer to it as Spanish. Sure, there are several idiomatic differences depending on country but I can have a conversation with a Bolivian and understand them and them me.
Well Spain has different languages (as you know of course), Catalan, Basque, Galician, etc. So calling a language that dominated Spain but didn't really represented all Spain (as it came from the Castilian Kingdom) is kind of (in my option) unfair? I dunno. Besides I have been grown up calling "Spanish" Castellano.

Now insert every single stereotype of a Canadian you can.
Are you sure you put enough stereotypes in? Add more.
Cover it with a slight Quebecois twang.
Give it a Low- mid Baritone range.
Give it the texture of a bag of charcoal that has been poorly ground, making it somewhat rough and hard to grasp at the same time.
This is what I sound like.
