That's where i've struggled the most in attempting to assume an American accent. My r's. I've gotten better, but I've noticed half the time they still come out like i've always pronounced it. Guess that's where I need to spend more time working.

Quite, I know. But I don't like to be seen as an "outsider" - especially now that I do hold US citizenship. I decided I wanted to do my best to talk like those around me. And for the most part i've been able to. People still look at me strangely when I say some words... And when I get excited you'd think I was back in Co. Kerry, not Colorado.
