15 minutes ago. Wow. This is freaky, this week is not turning out good. It still says "shots fired" but of course, this might not end well..

How are we going to prevent this in the future? How are we going to limit the sale of guns, if you want to be like me and limit the sales of guns. Or you are like the NRA and want to completely unrestrict guns.

Doesn't seem like a mass shooter, at least. Or, if he is, he hasn't really picked the opportune time of day for a homicidal rampage.

ask moderation about reading serious moderation candidates TGs without telling them about it until afterwards and/or apparently refusing to confirm/deny the exact timeline of TG reading ~~~ i hope you never sent any of the recent mods or the ones that got really close anything personal!

signature edit: confirmation has been received. they will explicitly do it before and without asking. they can look at TGs basically whenever they want so please keep this in mind when nominating people for moderator or TGing good posters/anyone!

I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

Agree with the last, maybe we should just focus on the incident for the time being.

So, this might be a case of us being a little on edge:
Other scanner information claims the assumed shooter took a fallen officer's gun. He is thought to have been fleeing from a nearby robbery, and no information has so far pointed to his affiliation, or not, with the school.

What I heard from that was that an MIT police officer was shot and his weapon was stolen. The officer is being treated at Massachusetts General. Suspect is still on the loose.

Although it didn't mention the extent of his injuries, that officer IS alive. There is possibly a photo of the suspect.
