While we're jumping off the slippery slope, we could very well argue that not allowing gay marriage would let the conservatives decide that atheists, pagans, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Shintoists, Jains, Sikhs, and other people could not get married. And from there, only people who were capable of having children, because one popular argument I've heard from Republicans who hate taxes and want to get them lowered is that we shouldn't allow gay marriage because gay marriages do not produce children (never mind adoption) and thus there are fewer taxpayers in the future. Fuck those people who don't have the right religious beliefs, fuck those people who can't have children or don't want them, because only white, heterosexual, fertile Christians should be allowed to get married. Right?

My objection to incest/ people marrying parents comes from the very real and rather common phenomenon of grooming-- basically, conditioning children to become abusers or become willing participants in their abuse, even into adulthood. And even if two legal adults are consenting, I'd still be worried about the hold one partner might have over the other, as child abuse doesn't necessarily stop after the child turns 18.

As far as incest or polyamory go I say why not? As long as everyone is consenting it isn't hurting anyone.
