Yes they could, I said God kills children. God also tortures some people with cancer. He created diseases such as typhiod, malaria, HIV/AIDS, smallpox, cholera, etc. which have killed millions young and old alike.

God has two sides. I can accept this even though I wish he only showed his kind side.

The real test is not believing God exists. The test is whether you can love him after he kills the dying child.

Do you not understand how moronic, selfish, idiotic and horrible your concept is?

As an example of his proofs, Marcellino says, “Why do many modern scientists keep looking for a physical answer to the beginning of the universe when the 1st Law of Thermodynamics says that physical things can’t create new physical things out of nothing? It is obvious then that the physical universe had to have a non-physical starter.” He then goes on to scientifically prove that the “non-physical starter” is a powerful, intelligent, eternal being.

Your first article doesn't say what you think it does.

As for the second, really? A washed up musician who found God and rehashes the 'First Cause' arguments that go back to at least Aquinas? Your example proof is nothing more than the same tired old special pleading, "Everything has to have a cause! Except God, because God is magic! I win!" :palm:

Quite frankly you are a terrible person whom I wish to never meet if you could love the murderer of a child.

Just about all the gods from ancient times killed people. It was something they did. People - humanity - is at least trying to grow out of that. Any deity that is glorified for killing on the scale that Yahweh did it deserves no respect. Luckily, he doesn't exist, so it isn't really an issue.

We love him because we have to. If we don't love him we will possibly be sent to Hell (I am iffy on this idea though but I could imagine God punishing us in the afterlife if we didn't love him while on earth).

Perhaps fear and respect are better words. Like the Sicilian villagers 'loved' the Godfather who could do good and bad within his community.

I think God is satisfied with fear and respect. As long as we recognize his authority and thank him for what he gives us and don't have any other Gods I am guessing he will be pleased.

Don't be deceived when our Revolution has finally been stamped out and they tell you things are better now even if there's no poverty to see, because the poverty's been hidden...even if you ever got more wages and could afford to buy more of these new and useless goods which these new industries foist on you, and even if it seems to you that "you never had so much" - that is only the slogan of those who have much more than you.

The moral and decent person isnt as depraved as yourself. Unlike your parasitic self, most of us would rather receive great pain than bear to see an innocent child suffer. Thankfully your vile deity doesnt exist, but if he did we would not have to love him for murdering a child. Indeed those of us who truly love humanity would rather burn than live that far worse hell of becoming a monster like yourself. A monster who loves the killer of children.

So in other words there is nothing moral or good about God, he's just the asshole with the biggest gun?

Yeah, I think I'll take my chances with not worshipping a sadist who threatens to torture me until I love him.
