Many of us American feminists (because all feminists are American, right? ) do indeed direct quite a bit of energy toward Saudi Arabia, but it's hard to direct any energy anywhere when you're caring for loads of children you can't afford to feed OR DYING IN CHILDBIRTH and can't do much to stop this because a bunch of old guys in the government think blastocysts take precedence over women's choices, rights, and lives. Excuse the fuck out of us for focusing on our own country.
