I'm going with the people who actually work at the place reported to have been bombed. They say they weren't bombed. I trust they didn't miss an explosion.

Alright, here is what happened according to local news. Two dead, around thirty missing limbs, three explosion, one at JFK, two near the finish line. Two more were found and deactivated, another one blown up by the Bomb Squad. No fly zone over that part of the city, and they are encouraging people to not use cellphones.

Yup.

Just explaining that in a situation as this, panicked people who's extent of what a device looks like is based on video games and Hollywood, tend to view everything and anything as a possible device.

Better safe than sorry, though, especially with other suspicious devices already having been destroyed and with a lot of general confusion (as is to be expected).

North Korea (unlikely, but hey, they have been threatening the US, albeit with nukes instead of terrorist bombs)
Iran (again, unlikely, but if there are two countries that have any serious anti-US rhetoric, it's these two)

The Police Commissioner also said that is was an explosion. I guess we have to wait for his next report in about two hours.
