I absolutely love the assumption that growing up around smoking will instantly cause ill health. I'm fucking healthy. Well I mean, I'm not, but that's because I don't eat right for shit.

Yes, I'm fucking dieing, it's so obvious I have to post about it for the first time ever in this thread. The only one who has illnesses or side-effects from smoking in my house are the people who fucking smoke. Who woulda thought!?! I've seen the affects of smoking, and will never do it myself. I personally don't want to die like my Great Aunt.

Anyway, this is my response, schools and hospitals have courtyards have they not, well at-least some of them, what if you lived next to a hospital with a courtyard, or you are just next door to a public school, don't you think your second hand smoke will get to them somehow?

Sometimes that is not deterrent enough...

No. For many reasons.

And you're trying to expand this affected area to reach your preconceived notions that all smokers are evil people blowing their smoke towards kids.
Seriously, it's either you think we're all evil or you know fuck all about physics. Or how clouds of smoke work.

Exactly, it's not like when my dad lights up he hold it up to my fucking nose to breathe in...

No, you definitely have the right to smoke, just in the privacy of your own home and/or property, where there is only you around...

Nope. No thanks. I'll smoke where I still can, when I deem it appropriate. Funny, that's how most smokers are. We smoke when we think the environment is appropriate.

Exactly, my dad usually doesn't even fucking light up in front of me because he knows we all think the odor is horrid, but I smell it when I go back to my room, am I dead yet? Am I suffering from some disease that I don't know of or breathing air any worse than I breathe on a regular basis?

Then you do not care for the children and the elderly and everybody else who want and have the right not to smell your dirty exhaust...

The Republic of Pantalleria wrote:Kamchastkia wrote:Real quick, may I get your take on industrial pollution?
Industrial pollution is a different topic, as though it pollutes, it provides jobs and stimulates economies, so my advice would be to try and reduce industrial pollution by planting trees around factories, putting smoke filters or something like that in the smoke stacks, etc. until the technology for us to eradicate air pollution completely is developed...
