Indeed. In fact, he's posting here explaining about how dead he is.

I absolutely love the assumption that growing up around smoking will instantly cause ill health. I'm fucking healthy. Well I mean, I'm not, but that's because I don't eat right for shit.

Yes, I'm fucking dieing, it's so obvious I have to post about it for the first time ever in this thread. The only one who has illnesses or side-effects from smoking in my house are the people who fucking smoke. Who woulda thought!?! I've seen the affects of smoking, and will never do it myself. I personally don't want to die like my Great Aunt.

Sometimes that is not deterrent enough...

When do you see people smoking around kids at schools? Teachers who smoke MIGHT take a break outside, but no kids will be there. And Hospitals often have smoker designated areas.

Well then tough shit. You aren't going to stop tobacco smoking, or any smoking of a natural substance for that matter. People will puff it most likely 'till the end of time, or somehow Tobacco runs out?

That's probably why most sci-fi universes that try for some level of social realism always include recreational drugs of some sort.

First on the list is that second hand smoke doesn't travel a tenth of a fucking mile.

Fast food is fine with me, for one person being fat, doesn't affect one person being fit, however when a smoker exhales secondary smoke, the affects on the surrounding environment, i.e. Children, elderly, etc. then the consequences could be... Severe...

Secondly would be the sheer number of smokers needed and thirdly, most hospitals and schools forbid smoking in their grounds.

And you're trying to expand this affected area to reach your preconceived notions that all smokers are evil people blowing their smoke towards kids.

Seriously, it's either you think we're all evil or you know fuck all about physics. Or how clouds of smoke work.

No, you definitely have the right to smoke, just in the privacy of your own home and/or property, where there is only you around...

Nope. No thanks. I'll smoke where I still can, when I deem it appropriate. Funny, that's how most smokers are. We smoke when we think the environment is appropriate.

Exactly, my dad usually doesn't even fucking light up in front of me because he knows we all think the odor is horrid, but I smell it when I go back to my room, am I dead yet? Am I suffering from some disease that I don't know of or breathing air any worse than I breathe on a regular basis?

Industrial pollution is a different topic, as though it pollutes, it provides jobs and stimulates economies, so my advice would be to try and reduce industrial pollution by planting trees around factories, putting smoke filters or something like that in the smoke stacks, etc. until the technology for us to eradicate air pollution completely is developed...

Well that's what you're trying to say... Isn't it? Otherwise you would smoke indoors (and by indoors, I mean your own home) *assuming that you're a smoker*

So the tobacco industry doesn't make jobs? Regardless, you're okay with one form of what you define as "killing the children and the elderly" and not "another"?

No, that's what you think I'm saying.

It's nice that the "when we think the environment is appropriate" part was ignored.
