So, after a few days ago hearing that there used to be an NSG Parliament, I felt somewhat optimistic about the possibility that something like that could happen again.
But, before I make a sparkly dazzling OP for it, I'd like to see if there's enough interest in it. If there isn't, then I'll kill this idea painlessly and bury it six pages back in the forum.
The "general" (pun intended) idea is that anyone meeting minimal requirements (having been a member for at least one month, etc.) can join the NSG Senate. You can then write bills, post in favor or against the bills, and vote on the bills. The NSG Senate would govern an imaginary country of undetermined name (yet) and pass bills on any political matters. I was even thinking that this country could exist in the real world - we could pass bills condemning North Korea or invading Florida or whatever.
If you have interest in this idea, please say so, and say so quick. Being one of the first people to take interest in this could line you up for one of the initial non-voting administrative positions. I, for example, will likely have the job of dealing with bill submissions, since I'm the OP. But I'll want other people to be administrators as well.
So, what are you thinking, NSG?
