Bah! It's not that cold, he says. It's -10 degrees C where I am, without wind chill. (Makes it feel like -20) Just wait until December...
Back on topic, I already live here (though I am not gay) and I have to say, even though we have our faults (*Cough*Harpertron and the Cons*Cough*), it is a very nice place to live, and I'd recommend it to anyone that doesn't mind the weather and the mosquitoes.

I agree. Though the mosquitoes here aren't THAT bad
I thought I'd add a Canadianism in for fun. Though apparently they can be pretty nasty in and around the Winnipeg area, though I've never been there myself.
I'm guessing you live in or around the Lower Mainland or Victoria then, because I don't think the Newfies would be running around in shorts at this time of year.
