Core tenets of human law and natural law.

And it's not illegal in many states and nations.

Or maybe they are and thus are not bothered by their potential partner's medical past.

I'm plenty secure in my sexuality. I know exactly what I like, and what I don't.

And the fact that someone used to have a penis no more bothers me then the fact that they used to be an infant. I'm wouldn't be having sex with the male them any more then I would be having sex with the infant them.

Popular opinion, state authority, societal standards, take your pick. There are a lot of reasons why we can tell people who want to rape animals that they can't.

You could see it like that, I'm against attempts force a language into a certain form. I hate organizations like the French Academy.

Beyond an agreed spelling convention, I don't see a reason for it.

Attempts to prevent linguistic change are bad, but I don't see what's bad about coining new words or using words in new ways. That's natural change.

The title didn't say "trans man", it said "trans person".

If you date a trans man it might be more complicated, but you'll still have to be a bit gay. Maybe not fully gay but you're problably somewhat into guys. Despite him being born a woman, as a straight dude I wouldn't do it .

If you date a woman who has a hysterectomy does that make you gay?

obviously not

Wait, dating a trans man is less gay? I don't know what kind of warped ideas you need to have to think it's less gay to date the same gender.

Also, if it's obviously not gay to date a woman with a hysterectomy, why would it be gay to date a post-op transwoman?

That's probably why transwomen face more stigma than transmen as well.
