I think the greater problem is that your definition of words and the actual accepted definition of words in this context differ in some cases.

Not in my experience. Maybe I just know better people. You should consider not hanging out with users.

This is what I'm wondering about too. I do consider it hypocrisy and an inconsistent standard if someone won't have a relationship with anyone infertile but would remain with them if they become infertile later. That makes no sense.

Really? Have you ever actually been in a relationship?

If you met someone and they said, "Hey, I was recently diagnosed with a terrible disease and will die a slow, wasting death over the next couple of years that will be absolute agony for anyone who loves me" would you say, "Ooh, I definitely want to be part of that"?

If you'd been married to someone for twenty years and then they were diagnosed with a terrible disease that would cause them to die a slow, wasting death, would you leave?

Breaking news: people are willing to make sacrifices for people they love that they are NOT willing to make for people they don't know particularly well yet but might theoretically come to love in time. The idea that this is somehow confusing baffles me.

Yeah, it's kind of a douche move to reject someone outright if they're infertile. If that's like the only reason, anyway. I think people who say that just don't want to seem transphobic by saying they don't want to date a trans person outright.
Or maybe I just don't care about whether or not my hypothetical mate is able to have kids. There are some people who take that very seriously, but I see it as a plus lol.
Meh.

No, of course it's not.

In the world of relationships, you can discontinue a romance at any time for any reason, and it's no one's place to judge that.
