You know, if it's generally accepted that Xtianity has every Sunday as a holy day, Jewish have every Saturday as holy day and was it Islam that has every Friday as holy day... calculate how many holy days per year that makes (52 or 53, I think) and then give each member of a recognized religion (tip: in the States every recognized religion is allowed to marry people, even if it was officially treated as civil marriage) an equal number of holy days off each year. The days would depend on said religion's holy days, of course.

Equal treatment all around, eh?

Well, I am rather plaesed at my sucess of coming out of the "broom closet" at my school. I actually live in a rural area in southwestern Virginia, so how well people took it is quite a pleasant suprise. Of course a few people are still getting on me about it, and a good percentage of the school hasn't found out because I for the most part only discussed it with my friends, but it still is rather nice. My friend Jared, recently had an excellant reception when he came out as homosexual (well as nice of a reception as rednecks give anyways). I still wish I could find the courage to tell my family though. No, it's not that I'm afraid of them not accepting the religion, it's actually that my family is so scientific, that it feels weird as being a part of any organized faith. (Most of them are agnostic, or very liberal Christians).
