I used to have a negative view, when I was more to the left in 2011. Now I swinged to the right for the sake of trying to get a first in my university degree. So the view of Maggie is more positive.

Generally mixed, I hated how the miners lost their jobs but then realised the jobs were public sector and the mines cost the govt a few million £. I wished their was private companies willing to takeover, it is such a shame there was almost none. Now our economy is too services based. Less hard graft and more thinking. I reckon thinking too much causes problems.

Now with all the celeb gossip and materialistic trends and brands, it was good to see a bit of real life again in the news coverage of her reign dealing with proper stuff back then.

Half the things she done I didn't like, but at least it was important issues back then dealt with properly without so much press interpretation and endless PR.
