Technically religion is the most complicated things in the world they have set rules yet so many are broken particually "thou shalt not kill" people have killed each other over religion The Crusades, Irish protestants and not forgetting the jews in WWII.

Many translate it as 'Thou shalt not murder', which has an entirely different meaning.

Religion can ruin your life most teachings are basic knowlegde anyhow like not stealing or killing but they have a certian level of moral to them yet the bible who wrote this book.

And moving on to God apprently all powerful yet his abilities break the laws of physics which is impossible I have "A" levels in RE classes and my thoughts probably tell you why.

If said God is omnipotent, he could very easily break the laws of physics. If a being is omnipotent, then nothing would be impossible for him, no?

Then one day in high school, I became an Agnostic after I heard some other kids making fun of how ridiculous Christianity is. I laughed and mentally agreed, that when put into jokes, Christianity is ridiculous.

I was raised Catholic but stopped believing in it shortly after I realized their stance on in vitro fertilization (I'm a test tube baby. It's hard to believe in a religion that states you are product of Satan himself). I was about eleven at the time.
I went into a Neo-Pagan phase where I was simply fascinated with the religion.
Eventually, around high school, I shifted to my current belief system of theistic agnosticism. I tried to learn about the major religions and decided that I believed in something that mainstream religion simply didn't explain. That's about where I stand now.

I'm 16 and am greatly confussed (and fascinated at the same time) on religion, spirituality, the meaning of life, etc. I wasn't raised in any religion. I have mostly based most of my believes off of my experiances with life (of which obviously there aren't very many of due to my age) and the experiances of others (but mostly the first). Most people look to religion for morality or reason (I don't, I make my own morals, which I think makes me stronger), I seek only to understand. So I'm wondering, how old were you when you first started to understand your own religious beliefs?

A tip I would give you: Religion by itself is a bad way to go about understanding anything in this world. There are better ways to go about gaining knowledge and understanding than to follow what some priest or what have you says is the "Truth". Try looking into many religions, philosophies, and also become versed in the sciences, at least to a passable extent. That is what I have done up until this point.

Yeah, I'm not looking to religion to make sence of the world, I'm using sence of the world to find religion.

Then you may find looking into some atheistic and agnostic spiritual paths fruitful.

1) Because people are saying that they decided that god did not exist. Considering this thread is asking for your age, and your religion, atheists have no place here, do they?

2) It's ironic because, in islamic countries, women are not allowed to serve as a police officer, drive, learn or generally anything that might lead them to believe that they are being oppressed. That a white (Infidel, to them) woman (whom they oppress and allow no voice, not even allowing them to show their face) would put four bullets into his torso, at point blank range, where he HAD to have seen her, is simply karma at it's best.

That's not necessarily true. Atheism can be considered a religion to some and a non religion to others. This is actually an ongoing moral debate, and it does not belong here at all. There is no right answer to it, as of current, and the only thing you are doing here is derailing a thread by beginning to speak about how Atheists ought not to be here because it is not a religion.
