From personal experience, women tend not to like long hair.

I think it looks pretty sweet. But please, before you wear anything like that, make sure you know what it means. I've seen people wear symbols that are basically the equivalent of the Swastika, unknowingly.

Many symbols have been adopted from other people, but what the Swastika (for example) is associated with now is the mass slaughtering of European Jews.

I dunno, I'd just be careful. I mean, I don't think any Celtic symbols mean something like that, but you never know for sure until you check.
