I think the government is fine. Like any large bureaucracy, it has its inefficiencies, but by and large I think it does a good job running the country.

I'm sure this will be locked, but:

I find it highly suspect that people like you were completely silent for 8 years of the Bush Administration running roughshod over the Constitution, taking more and broader tyrannical powers for the executive branch than any administration since FDR, all in the name of "fighting terrorism", but now that a Democrat wants to give people health insurance, it's suddenly time for armed revolution. Your hypocrisy sickens me.

My system, the one with so much corruption that there is none that's recognizable.

The corrupt win, those against corruption win, I win.

We all win.

I honestly don't think the US government is all that corrupt. There is corruption, certainly, and dubious ways of doing things but if you want a corrupt government where nothing happens without money changing hands, I refer you to Africa or the Middle East.

What does anyone mean by "tyranny?"

Sure it's technically defined, but it gets thrown around so much, it's almost the equivilent of hot or big or bad or any of those vague, non-universally accepted terms.

You have to remember that America is massive and the country will inevitably need a fairly sprawling government to properly govern it. I don't really have a problem with the federal government because the alternatives are not viable.

Every President has raped the Constitution since Andrew Johnson, its a fact of life...

Thats not what the Healthcare bill does in the slightest, I dont like it much these days, as there were too many concessions to the Republicans and Corporate Interests, however, to say that its going to "essentially kill" anything is ludicrous, and its still better than the current system...

and the Parties have been in the process of raping the system since before the Constitution was finalized, again, its a fact of life in a Democracy...

I'll agree with that.

You don't have to agree with the Democrats in the White House, House, or Senate, but to think they are tyrants is a little outside reality.

And, after all, the majority of American elected these "tyrants." If they really are tyrant they'll get booted out of office in 2010 and 2012. Not that I think they should be, of course.

No idea what the fuck the "consituiont" is, but I bet whatever it is--he managed to screw that up as well.

Two I hate Obama because he is no better and is proposing with his health care bill to essentially Kill your grandmother.

I'm not a big fan of Hitler II the Antichrist your mom Obama either, but he's not trying to kill my grandmother.

Maybe yours, but certainly not mine.

1. Yes, but were you advocating armed rebellion when he was in office?

2. a. The idea that Obama wants to kill your grandmother has long been debunked as a GOP lie. It would do your position well not to lie.
b. How is proposing universal health care no better than torturing people?

3. Yes, but again, were you advocating armed rebellion when the Republicans were in power? I find it highly suspect that suddenly NOW it's time to overthrow the government, NOW that it's a Democrat in office.

I'd argue the current people in charge of the insurance companies are the death panels.

You mean "hot" that can be used to describe both warmth or attractiveness?

Or "bad" that can mean both the opposite of good and good?
