How to respond to racism?

I punched someone in the face once. I don't suggest doing that. People have been racist to me so many times I just ignore it now. Unfortunately I've found that that is all one really can do without looking like the bad guy, enforcing said stereotypes or just plain being a moron.

I personally respond to racism by trying to educate them. If they choose to ignore me, that tells me how many brain cells they have in their head.

They were effective fighters. Often against other Samurai, or lower-class warriors (or levied peasants.) That hardly by itself constitutes grandness by itself.

Second, of course, though smaller in stature (likely) to European warriors, they were nonetheless trained, skilled soldiers who spent their lifetime learning how to kill. I really doubt some high school bully-prey with a tire iron is exactly the same as Miyamoto Musashi with his daitō.

Or, you know, the only sane option. Talk to someone in a position to do something about it. A trusted teacher, a parent, a school administrator (assuming they're competent/sympathetic).
