Surely Bangladesh will win this time. England will have trouble chasing anything over 150 in the fourth innings.

Bangladesh have won! What a moment – good for the future of Test cricket. Chuffed to bits for them.

I think this has been coming for a while, but Bangladesh hardly ever get to play test cricket. Hopefully it will mean they start getting more test matches and longer series.

Brilliant from Bangladesh, but on the other hand, shocking from England. Ten wickets in a session for 60 odd runs, only three men get past 20. Massive improvement will be needed before India.

Too quick to judge, that pitch was (unexpectedly) easy to bat on - but if he continues that way...

Indeed. Can't judge a player's quality on one Test. But, he looked very composed and played nicely. I'm optimistic.

So, England need to replace Duckett ASAP. Apparently, for some reason, the only available options in the touring party are Ballance and Buttler.

Forget Ballance, even he doesn't know why he keeps getting selected; the last thing we need is an out of form left-hander with dodgy technique.

That leaves Buttler. It is a total mystery to me why people want Buttler in the Test team. He hasn't done anything in FC cricket and never looked to me like the kind of player you expect to bat for longer than 100 balls (which might be enough to score hundreds in ODIs, but not in Tests). This whole strategy of trying to shove ODI players with mediocre FC records into the Test team just because they can hit sixes has to stop. It didn't work with Morgan or Hales, and it won't work with Buttler.

You think England have selection problems...

The head of Australia's selection panel has resigned, and Australia have just named 6 changes for the 12 man squad for the last test against SA in Adelaide. It will also be the first time they've had four debutants in one match in almost 40 years.

It will be good for England to not Panic, they probably need to replace Duckett and Ansari but the rest of the team is playing well enough.

Another good thing would be to not Drop Kohli.

I'm not too bothered by England's performance in the match just finished - batting last was always going to be too difficult, and they did take all 20 wickets, which is encouraging. It would have been nice if they could have lasted until tea on day 5, but you can't have everything.

No need to panic, I just don't get why so many people want Buttler in the Test team. The selectors aren't completely hopeless; Hameed looks like a great selection, and Duckett was worth a shot, but the mystery of how Buttler and Ballance keep getting included in Test squads continues to baffle me.

If Buttler does play, then he should take the gloves and bat at 7 and let Bairstow bat higher up, but knowing England, I expect they will bat him at four and then wonder why he doesn't reach double figures.

MS Dhoni just resigned as captain of both India's limited over squads.
It is quite probable that this is leading towards retirement, which would mark the end of a great career.

According to the Telegraph, Cook is set to step down this week. Root will be appointed Test captain.

Root has certainly proved himself batting wise so he seems like the natural successor.
