the problem is either we have elections of some legislatures and everyone else loses interest.
Or we what NSG normally gets when we debate a topic with a poll arguing and cloning to rig votes.

Would this be a totally US-centric thing? Or am I just reading the OP in that way?

How about a NSG union that actually attempted to control posting trends by simply coordinating what we respond to?

Who needs moderators?

NSG. Obviously. Because people will still find a way to break, bend. maim, contort and otherwise horribly mutilate every rule when given the opportunity?

My summary was US-centric, as I am US-centric, but we would certainly address problems as if they were existing in a fictional country. Perhaps we could examine country specific problems as well. It would certainly give us USians a chance to get in tune with other nation's politics.

Not inherently.

I am all for representative legislatures whose decisions are passed down upon contractually associated peoples. I would prefer a different title, but legislature seems best for the purposes of this thread.

That sounds alot like Socialism, :eyebrow:
:p

More like anarchy, actually.

Anyway, if it's not too much US-centered, count me in. It's not like I'm not interested in US politics, it's just that I know very little about it.

OK, so far about the only condition established is that it will not be US-centric. It may be either a fictional blank-slate nation, or we may examine policy issues from various nations.

I have this list of people who have expressed interest, let me know if you are interested, and we will get the ball rolling.

I placed this in the OP as well.

I enjoyed the NS General Parliament, so I approve of this idea.

I am not a antique nation so I don't know if I can join but this sounds like a great idea.
