Of course they have a conservative bias. We have a left wing (or, more accurately, a middle of the road) President and Congress. It's better ratings to tear down than to build up, so the media is now turning around like the rabid wolves they are.

Yeah, sure. New York 23rd, the biggest news as long as your don't realize more money, people and energy went to the gubrnatorials.

On top of that the Republicans pretty much lost the race by throwing support behind a third party candidate and forcing the withdrawal of the main GOP candidate from the race. Even then the Democrat barely managed to win. I think it points up how disgusted independents are with Obama and his Socialist States of America agenda. Perhaps some of the third parties will get together and form a coalition to take all of us voters that are truly sick of Republicans and Democrats in 2010 and 2012.

Why do the people need to be consulted given that it only affects them if they want it to?
Why should people’s rights be up for public vote?

actually, exit polls show that is untrue. In VIrginia, 51% supported obama yet voted for McDonnel
50% in NJ

The courts are set up to prevent tyranny by the majority. You don't get to persecute the other guy because he has fewer numbers. If majority were always allowed to rule Jim Crow might still be alive and well.

Oh, so many things so very wrong...

The Democrat shouldn't have won the race in the NY-23- even with all the crazy that happened with Hoffman and Scozzafava...it's a Republican district. The fact a Democrat did win is almost extraordinary. The Tea Party candidate lost a race that was the Republican's to lose.

In VA & NJ- the voters voted for candidates based on local issues, not national ones. In fact, exit polls show that in New Jersey 57% of the voters approval of the job Barack Obama is doing but they still voted for the Republican. And voters in both NJ and VA said Obama had nothing to do with their voters for Governor.

^ This is true for Oklahoma as well.

I know everyone thinks of Oklahoma and goes, "Those damn Republicans."

When in reality for several years in a row we have elected nothing but Democrats to our state government. We only vote republican in Federal Government. They seem to work best that way.

the only people I have heard who call the media liberal generally put it along the lines of "Fox isn't biased, every other news station is liberally biased!"

Fox is biased.

CNN is biased, they CAME OUT AND ADMITTED IT ON TV.

There is no one in the world who isn't biased in their own ideals...arguing otherwise is completely ignorant. -.-

Dramatize everything? Like the Teabaggers and their rather hysterical signs about doom and gloom and the end of America? Talk about drama queens.

The media is generally liberal when the GOP's in and conservative when the Dems are in.

Not all at once. Even Obama, for all his talents, can't do that, so the (Self)Righteous Right have to pick one. Hitler images come across better than socialists or Muslims, though Muslims are right up there. But Socialists, I mean, Eugene V. Debs?

I'm pretty sure it's more accurate and unbiased would be, "Liberal Media would be the media that gives more coverage to the liberal party, and refuses to point out their many flaws. While targets the Conservative party with everything they have, whilst not showing anything good they do."

In other words, CNN.

I don't understand how the story of how the schism in the Republican Party directly cost the GOP a forever-Republican district isn't bigger news. Isn't that the more compelling story? The civil war in the 150 year old political party?
