Yeah, sure. New York 23rd, the biggest news as long as your don't realize more money, people and energy went to the gubrnatorials.

On top of that the Republicans pretty much lost the race by throwing support behind a third party candidate and forcing the withdrawal of the main GOP candidate from the race. Even then the Democrat barely managed to win. I think it points up how disgusted independents are with Obama and his Socialist States of America agenda. Perhaps some of the third parties will get together and form a coalition to take all of us voters that are truly sick of Republicans and Democrats in 2010 and 2012.

Gay marriage will happen, don't worry. The states just need to pass legislation, not offer referendums.

The courts are set up to prevent tyranny by the majority. You don't get to persecute the other guy because he has fewer numbers. If majority were always allowed to rule Jim Crow might still be alive and well.A Rightist Puppet wrote:Brajh wrote:Bunyippie wrote:South Lorenya wrote:Unfortunately, thetraitorshomophobesgay marriage opponents managed to pass proposition 1 on Maine.

Oh, so many things so very wrong...
The Democrat shouldn't have won the race in the NY-23- even with all the crazy that happened with Hoffman and Scozzafava...it's a Republican district. The fact a Democrat did win is almost extraordinary. The Tea Party candidate lost a race that was the Republican's to lose.
In VA & NJ- the voters voted for candidates based on local issues, not national ones. In fact, exit polls show that in New Jersey 57% of the voters approval of the job Barack Obama is doing but they still voted for the Republican. And voters in both NJ and VA said Obama had nothing to do with their voters for Governor.

the only people I have heard who call the media liberal generally put it along the lines of "Fox isn't biased, every other news station is liberally biased!"

I'm pretty sure it's more accurate and unbiased would be, "Liberal Media would be the media that gives more coverage to the liberal party, and refuses to point out their many flaws. While targets the Conservative party with everything they have, whilst not showing anything good they do."
In other words, CNN.
