Who Would Support North Korea In War?

Postby Old Sdrawkcab » Thu Mar 28, 2013 10:55 am

Who do you think would support North Korea in a possible WW3 scenario? What if they follow through with their threats of war on South Korea and the US? Would China support them and chime in on the war as well?
Pro: Conservative views/leaders, Republicans, Christianity, military, guns, guns, and more guns.

Anti: Obama, liberals, gay rights, gun control.

Gotta problem with me? Get over it.

Oh Geez being in favor of human rights would make me in favor of south korea despite their violations of press in the past. As for North korea, maybe if hell freezes over i'll support them.

Nobody.
Everyone except 2 countries hates NK.
Russia doesn't give a fuck.
China would do a quick calculation of the odds and immediately intervene in south koreas favor, invading north korea and grinning sheepishly at the rest of the world saying "Look, we are liberators!"
and we'd go "Mmhmm. sure."

Then China would get to have some measure of control over the reunification procedures as an equal party.

I doubt the Islamic Fascists in Iran even know what Asia is, let alone if a war is happening there.
The thing about dictatorship is that it atrophies the government. I'd fully expect the whole thing to be over by the time the mullah's got their message by pigeon or whatever the fuck they use.
(I have nothing but disdain for the iranian government and completely doubt any of it's capabilities.)

Not me. I'd support occupation and de-indoctrination of the population.
The United Colonies of Earth exists:
to encourage settlement of all habitable worlds in the Galaxy and perhaps the Universe by the human race;
to ensure that human rights are respected, with force if necessary, and that all nations recognize the inevitable and unalienable rights of all human beings regardless of their individual and harmless differences, or Idiosyncrasies;
to represent the interests of all humankind to other sapient species;
to protect all humanity and its’ colonies from unneeded violence or danger;
to promote technological advancement and scientific achievement for the happiness, knowledge and welfare of all humans;
and to facilitate cooperation in the spheres of law, transportation, communication, and measurement between nation-states.

No one. China sees North Korea as more of a liability than an ally most of the time, and Russia has hardly any interest in the Korean peninsula.

I don't think anyone would support North Korea in a war, China would most likely cut their alliance with North Korea if they started a war. China does want to maintain peace in the region, whether you believe it or not. If North Korea starts a war(which they probably won't) nobody would support them.

China would never go to war against the US for a few reasons. As a few of them have already been stated, I'll just say mine.
The US is and continues to be a massive importer for Chinese goods. You cut that line and profit in CHina will shrink.
