Aw screw it, I'll do battle with ignorance today:
There is no such thing as an AK-47. "AK-47" is a made-up Westernized term first created by the CIA and popularized by Hollywood, and does not refer to any weapon ever made in the Soviet Union, ever. This probably has something to do with NATO's fascination with putting numbers after weapon designations, something the Soviets were not as fond of doing. What 99% of people think is an AK-47 is actually called an AKM, and what the other .9999999999 percent think is an AK-47 is simply an AK (Type 1 through 3).
On topic?
Barbados's is pretty cool. I mean, Poseidon's trident? That's pretty badass.
Who gives a shit about such an asinine and trivial 'point?'
Well, the vast majority of military and firearms historians, Russians, and people who actually give a shit about calling things by their proper name. It's like calling Somali people "Somalians". But, you probably call magazines "clips", so the point is most likely lost on you.
