They've far outnumbered the Greeks for a while. And since only Thrace, Smyrna and the Pontus were mostly Greek, you'd have to take a lot of hugely populated Turkish areas.

Did you check the map? Only the red part is what the Greeks would take. The non heavily Greek part is the one connecting Constantinople and Smyrna.

1.Lenin, rather than go home to Russia to start a revolution, stays with the Dadaists in Zurich and starts a revolution later based more around absurdity and the artistic destruction of art itself than communism.
2.Richard Nixon beats Kennedy in the 1960 election, JFK dies of a meth overdose in his fancy home
3.Cromwell loses the English Civil War and England goes Catholic. My ancestor Sir John Lunsford goes on to become an even greater noble and revered figure in English history.
4. Huey Long gets elected president (I just think it would be cool to observe, im not sure if he'd be a beter president than FDR was)

1. That would certainly be more interesting than what really happened.
2. Uhm ...
3. Never heard of him. There was a Sir Thomas Lunsford who was Lieutenant Constable of the Tower in 1641, for a few days.
4. Yeah, I don't think Long would have been that great, honestly.

Which is why Kennedy was doing meth. It's better than dying of radiation poisoning.

It didn't turn them from haters into killers. It turned them from being indifferent into being casual murderers.

Ultimately, a very small number of people is quite sufficient to, via knock-down effects, kill millions. The holocaust is far from being the only example. The Belgian Kongo involved Leopold II wanting to make money - orders were passed down, viable strategies developed, and several million people died, while the rest lost their left (Or was it the right? Meh) hand, not because the victims were hated, but because the orders of the top guy were handed down the chain of command.

It is enough for the guy on top to have a specific desire, and a few dozen trusted companions to relay orders and organise things. Everything else can be taken care of by guaranteeing regular pay and counting on desensitation. History is choke-full of examples, and Ganz Normale Männer: Das Reserve-Polizeibattalion 101 handily explores the psychological issues in play.

I think that we can conclude that haters gonna hate.

With a Catholic Britain there would have been no protestant ethic and spirit of capitalism and so Britain would not have led the industrial revolution, there would have been no British Empire. Britain would also have observed the rules of colonisation in the new world according to the Pope and so the US may now be speaking French. Many protestant countries such as the Netherlands that were helped by Britain when attacked by Catholic countries would no longer exist. France may have become more powerful and may never have been rocked by revolution. Britain would remain a tiny Island, forever invaded by the mighty powers in Europe.
