Another great Japanese import in my opinion, which I hope that more pedestrians can save time rather having to cross in a square, but there are already junctions which stops traffic in all directions for the pedestrian phase, and I have observed that some cross diagonally at such junctions, but this is the first time here it has been designated for such purpose. I hope to see more of those, particularly near my new London apartment at Mildmay Park when I plan to return there next summer.
What do you think of the Diagonal crossings? Could it work globally?
