Yes, Objectivism is most definitely already taken.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Objectivism_(Ayn_Rand)

And it's definitely got nothing to do with religion.

I don't know, it's followed pretty much religiously by some.

And there's about as much basis for its objective moral principle as any religion.

Fine, fine, Objectivism is off the list! Sheesh!

What about Diffusionism? Is that taken? I need a name and I need it fast!

This book sounds like something that was written specifically because religious people looking for "proof" of their beliefs eat this shit up. Blind faith gives disingenuous religious apologists a license to print money.

Ditto to everyone who already cited the author's total misrepresentation of evolutionary theory.

And, kudos to anyone who may have already mentioned that an absence of evidence is not evidence of absence with regards to the author's argument about being unable to prove there isn't an afterlife in some parallel dimension.

1st Law of Thermodynamics
2nd Law of Thermodynamics

They both proclaim that Jesus is Lord.

The Laws of Thermodynamics
wiki:
These four laws are:

Zeroth law of thermodynamics, about thermal equilibrium:
If two thermodynamic systems are separately in thermal equilibrium with a third, they are also in thermal equilibrium with each other.
If we grant that all systems are (trivially) in thermal equilibrium with themselves, the Zeroth law implies that thermal equilibrium is an equivalence relation on the set of thermodynamic systems. This law is tacitly assumed in every measurement of temperature. Thus, if we want to know if two bodies are at the same temperature, it is not necessary to bring them into contact and to watch whether their observable properties change with time.[13]
First law of thermodynamics, about the conservation of energy:
The change in the internal energy of a closed thermodynamic system is equal to the sum of the amount of heat energy supplied to or removed from the system and the work done on or by the system or we can say " In an isolated system the heat is constant". Second law of thermodynamics, about entropy:
The total entropy of any isolated thermodynamic system always increases over time, approaching a maximum value or we can say " in an Isolated system, the entropy never decreases".
Third law of thermodynamics, about the absolute zero of temperature:
As a system asymptotically approaches absolute zero of temperature all processes virtually cease and the entropy of the system asymptotically approaches a minimum value; also stated as: "the entropy of all systems and of all states of a system is zero at absolute zero" or equivalently "it is impossible to reach the absolute zero of temperature by any finite number of processes".

Now, kindly provide a mathematical proof that from laws #1 and #2 descends "Jesus is Lord".

Also something called "faith".

Which, of course, would require believing IN SPITE of adverse evidence, as per definition of "faith". Credo quia absurdum. But you're relying on claimed "material evidence", so, clearly, you're not much into believing, are you?

Awnser this question for me. When my brother prayed over a man who was crippled and he was healed instantly. How do you prove that? When I prayed over someone and they were healed? How do you prove that?

Prove that your brother did. Prove that you did.
That's why anecdotal evidence isn't that much in the way of evidence.

Willl some people ever learn... :palm:

Hm, I have met sarcastic posters, but that was the first sarcastic link I have ever seen. :p

Well, I could care less about culture, so Diffusionism is out.

Oh, I know, I'll call it Perspectivism.

Perspectivism is the philosophical view developed by Friedrich Nietzsche that all idealizations take place from particular perspectives. This means that there are many possible conceptual schemes, or perspectives which determine any possible judgment of truth or value that we may make; this implies that no way of seeing the world can be taken as definitively "true", but does not necessarily propose that all perspectives are equally valid.

Well, I am tired of looking, so I will go R and steal the name. Perspectism, my new religion. I shall start on our texts immediately. Might post it here for review later, let some constructive criticism flow...

Wait, no, bad thought. I can see it already...

So, I will post it soon.

I gotta say it. First time I read through this, I could have sworn it said something like this:
Dammit, and I got accused of tech-wanking for using megawatt-scale free electron laser CIWS on my (nuclear powered) vessels to block spam missiles!

I was like, "Who the hell are you fighting... or more importantly, was your lunch meat laced?"

It's a bit lame using logic to bash someone when logic fails it's own criteria in the first place.

Where did you get this? Certainly not the article I cited- it doesn't go into detail about the representation or misrepresentation of evolutionary theory.

Wait for it...

right this is a different topic. The main fact is no one really knows. people clam but only they know if they are telling the truth. they believe they are telling the truth so lie detectors don't work. we wont find out until we die.
hell, heaven, new life or a hole in the ground? that is the question
