Violating a municipal bylaw is not really equal to violating a Constitutional right. Not all laws are equal, Intangelon.

I must object to that image. Finnis Everglot was not wealthy at all. The whole plot starts because his family is on the verge of bankruptcy, having nothing to their name but some useless lands and an aristocratic title that was becoming increasingly meaningless through the rise of wealthy middle class individuals.
Stuck somewhere between high school and old school.
Here's some bullshit I write. Maybe you want to read it?

Of course even if you do take down their signs they will of course play the discrimination card and whine to Fox News about how their faith is being attacked by the ebil liberals and the homosexual agenda. ironic given the signs they're putting up epitomizes discrimination.

I would have very much liked to know what that older gentleman who watched you take a picture would have done had you ripped it down.

Also, you really should put a sign there that says "Hey, that sign on the street sign is illegal. Should you really trust people who break the law?" as the previous person said, and simply take down their poster if they take yours down.

UPDATE!

Postby Intangelon » Mon Nov 02, 2009 8:23 pm

As of my last pass by the spot, the sign had been removed. Whether by authorities or hopefully embarrassed campaign staffers is unknown, but it is down. The system works -- who knew? Kudos to the Spokane Police front desk.

That homosexual marriage and adoption should be allowed is absolutely sick, and I'm glad that there are people who have enough sense to realize this.

Yellow highlighter. Write on the sign saying "This sign illegally placed"

Or rub out the "SB-5688" under the "Rejected" word, and put "illegally placed signs"

The irony would be delicious.

I thought ignorance of the law wasn't an excuse for not following it.

Though I'm not quite sure how that would work out.

Pull it down. It is the height of immortality to deal with an immoral system in a moral fashion. &c.

Anyway, if a sign pisses me off, and I can pull it down, I do. And you should do the same.
The kind of middle-class mentality which actuates both those responsible for strategy and government has little knowledge of the new psychology and organizing ability of the totalitarian States. The forces we are fighting are governed neither by the old strategy nor follow the old tactics.

The sign makes no sense. Protect marriage. Protect children. WTF? Heterosexual married couples break up because they realize they don't have to stay with that opposite sex bastard and instead have sex with those with the same equipment? Children wilt and die in the presence of married gays?
