I ask NSG: why should those who cannot follow even the smallest of laws be listened to when they want to amend or overturn laws already passed by the legislative body? Here's a close-up:

Surely they have enough volunteers to post their irrationally bigoted nonsense all over town -- and believe me, they have -- that they don't need to break the law to make their point. But they choose to do exactly that. To top it off, when I got out of my car to take that picture, an older gentleman in a Subaru got out of his car and watched me, as if he were assigned to that spot to make sure I didn't tear the sign down. I said nothing to him, snapped my photos, and left.
I hope I filled his irrationally bigoted old heart with a little paranoia. Perhaps that will give him the sense of what it's like to feel like others are watching you closely and suspiciously...and perhaps he'll think about how gay people live with that not just during election season, but every damned day.
Regardless of political point of view, it's not hard to not post where you shouldn't. Anyone here have any stories or pictures of irresponsible or illegal political sign posting, or any other comments? Have at you!
