You could write a novel on the group dynamics if that ever happened.

The blue sky above beckons us to take our freedom, to paint our path across its vastness. Across a million blades of grass, through the roars of our elation and a thousand thundering hooves, we begin our reply.

Or was that Elenore Roosevelt? They're very similar, IMO.

Both sort of awesome in their own right.

Indeed. There are many others I might have listed but the limit was 5.

Other honorable mentions would be Christ, Mother Theresa, Both Queen Elizabeths, William the Conqueror, Joan of Arc, Gandhi, Genghis Khan, Jessica Lange, Kennedy, Lou Thesz........the list could go on.

There seems to be a language problem in most people's selections. Or do the dead all speak perfect English?

1. H.I.M. Haile Selassie I.
Why: Aside from the fact that I'm a Rastafari, his life, character, and views I find very intriguing.

2. Bob Marley.
Why: He's Bob Marley. No further explanation required. 8)

3. Kwame Ture (Stokely Carmichael).
Why: A great Pan-Africanist intellectual and civil right champion. I would love to speak with him.

4. Vernon Carrington.
Why: He's the founder of the Twelve Tribes of Israel organization of Rastafari. I would love to listen to his reasonings in-person on Selassie I, the Bible, and Iyesus Kristos.

5. Joan of Arc.
Why: She was in charge of an army in Medieval France when she was a teenager...that's reason enough on its own. 8)
Seriously though, I find her incredibly inspiring.
This is no longer my main nation (got bored with it).

Then it would be Maria Sklodowska, Richard Feynman, Rita Levi-Montalcini, Primo Levi and Gaetana Agnesi.

Because I'm boring as fuck, there will be a few predictable names in my list:
- Jesus (Because I would love to talk with him)
- JFK (I think we could have a fun chat)
- Brian Cox (Because he is awesome)
- Troye Sivan (Because he is absurdly cute, funny, and I want to hear him sing in person)
- Florence Welch (Because she is the most awesome and crazy and everythingest person to have ever lived.)

Honourable mentions go to Percy Bysshe Shelley (because poetry), John Green (because DFTBA), plenty of NSG (fun chat and stuff), Max Barry (duh), artists from pretty much every band I listen to (also duh), Arthur C. Clarke (might be fun), Dan Howell (because he is hilarious), plenty of actors and actresses (duh), Michael Ancel (Because Beyond Good and Evil 2), Emperor Augustus (He probably was quite a fascinating person) and many many others.

Of course, this list is based on the idea that we could all talk with each other, via Universal Translator or other technobabbley stuff
