I'm for regulated capitalism personally. Basic safe guards on natural environments to ensure we don't lose it all, I'm personally not convinced about global warming, or at the least, that we have any chance of stopping it, as far as I can tell, its far too late and any serious attempt would be disastrous at best. I'd say the corporate welfare that is being engaged in by the US government is disappointing to say the least, although I'm not sure thats what you meant by corporate capitalism.

IF. But that's the problem, isn't it? Whereas Rome's Legions were organized, unified, yet flexible groups and formations, the Celts were formidable warriors. Individual warriors, that is. And no matter how kickass of a dueler you are, when met by a wall of shields with men just WAITING for you to raise your arm to strike at them behind it, you don't have much of a chance.

And going into battle naked isn't exactly the best of strategies either.

Well, let's go over this. First off, the Romans used Guerilla tactics against an opponent using scorch and burn tactics in Italy. Second off, Varus was an idiot who somehow got control of three legions, then taxed the Germans to revolt before sending his troops into terrain they were neither equipped nor trained for, and trusted a German Prince who absolutely despised him.

Not really. The Roman legion was simply a superior fighting force than anything the Celts could field.
