I'm interested that there are so many Democrats who think the party is too left on the environment. I wouldn't have guessed that.

I've founded my own party, with one person in it. I'm proud to say that I don't disagree with a single one of it's policies. It's weird, whenever I change my mind on a subject, it does too...

The only thing I don't like about my party is that they are still relatively unknown. My party is the modern whigs.

The Libertarian party has made a habit out of nominating the worst possible candidate. Gravel, Ruwart, and Kubby all were interesting, charismatic, and brilliant politicians who could have drawn voters from both major parties. Instead the Libertarians decided to choose... Bob Barr.

So Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Dick Cheney and some other person?
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.- Carl Sagan

The two main things I dislike about the Democratic Party is their Gun Control Stance and their environmentalist policies, and not enough focus on the Worker's Rights Policies.

EDIT: I dislike the Gun Control Stance because I don't believe that Guns should be restricted that much, and I dislike how they are too focused on environmentalism. It is also worthy to mention, though I like many of their policies, they rarely stand firmly behind them.

I don't have a political party.

Nor do I, in fact I haven't voted on a national level since about '92 (though I'm UK not USA).

Personally I believe the best form of political action is local action, which is often the most neglected. What can one really do with national elections unless an extreme party is looking as though it might gain some power, however, that can still be best combatted on a local level.

I still vote on the national level, but I vote for individuals not for parties. I gave up a long time ago expecting to find a candidate I agreed with. I was willing to settle for someone genuine and possessing integrity. After the last eight years though, my standards have dropped even lower. I'll settle for competence. :p

I'm Portuguese. Theres no party that comes remotely close to the ideals that i defend (somewhat mild Libertarianism) so i end up going with one of three choices:

Socialist Party (PS) - Center-left economics (which i don't like) and very socially progressive (which i love).
Social Democratic Center (CDS) - Very attuned to religious values and the social right (which i hate) and very fiscally conservative (which i love).
MMS (translation would be too confusing) - Which is midly fiscally conservative (Not enough, but OK) and mildly socially progressive (Not enough, but OK).

Depending on what i feel is most important to me at the time, i will cast my vote accordingly. For example in the last legislative elections i voted for CDS because my main concern was the economy. The funny thing is though, the party that won (Socialist party - roughly 40% of the votes) was rumoured to establish a coaligtion with the CDS party (roughly 10%) since it would allow for a majority of seats.

The thing I dislike the most about our party, the Republicans, is that we are now just a mouthpiece for Christian extremism. I am a free market libertarian, and vote for the Republican party because the Democrats will never support economic liberty. I am also gay. The extremists are fine if they stick to their constituencies, but they can't dominate the rest of the party. The Republican party can never take back Washington unless they can be more inclusive.
