I had to face down over 30 young Jordanian men simply because they hated Israel. It was just me and my young wife by ourselves when this happened. My bad for allowing myself and my wife to be caught like that........... it will NEVER happen again. It made a very lasting impression on me. Fox News and Stormfront had nothing to do with that........... just young palestinian Jordanians.

Well, but that's the thing: isn't there supposed to be a big field in the Negev (or is it the southern Judean Desert)? In the north, sure, the Qishon is already a cesspool and the Kinneret is already low on water (usually), so it's not like the area needs any more help.

The oil is in the Shephelah, which I'm sure you know, is quite a nice place. And they're going to be heating underneath the ground so that the oil can flow, and where there is flow, there is potential for contamination. except it is not true as first during ww1 we promised the arabs the land in return for helping us beat the ottomans. After we decided to keep it right up un till 1947 when we divided it in to the two states of Israel and Palestine. 2/3rds of the population was arab at this time with about 400,000 of the 600,000 Jews recent arrivals from europe and so had no birth right. As anybody would the arabs feeling betrayed by both the british and a UN that had not listened to the will of the people of the area and so walked allover their rights as a nation and people. Many countries have justified war over far less so are you surprised when the disfranchisement of the majority happened it left them with violence as their only choice? At the end of this war all the other Arab country's signed up a peace deal that did not have any input or protection for the people of Palestine. They had already been kicked in the teeth by the British, the arse by the UN and finally the bollocks by Israel, who have been occupying more and more land ever since. So any decent person would have sympathy with the people of Palestine. They have been treated like crap for nearly a century, i am not surprised they have become militant. would you not too if all that was about to happen to the US? Who were we to take away their country in the first place?

I've traveled pretty much everywhere in Jordan (still gotta see the desert castles) and pretty much everywhere I go they know I'm a Jewish Israeli. Like pretty much everything, if you're not an asshole, people won't be dicks to you. I'll accept your challenge, but only if you accept my challenge to walk through Mea Shearim on Passover eating extra-flaky bourekas while carrying Hamas flags and Playboy magazines.
