I mean, let's look the man up methodically and without biases. In 1948, Sharon joined the Haganah, a militant zionist organisation that led military actions ( often resulting in the death of civilians ) against arabs, and the british military. The Haganah was feared for its brutality.

In 1953, he entered unit 101, as a major. He participated in operation Shoshana: its objective was to "cleanse" Qibya, a small palestinian village, from its armed militants. But the raid resulted in the death of 69 palestinian civilians. Some were shot, others were forced to stay within their houses while they were destroyed upon them.

Sharon was also found indirectly responsible, by Israeli authorities, of the Sabra and Chatila massacre. He resigned, but came back in Politics. He stopped negociations with Arafat, and started building the well known anti-terror wall. He consistently supported further colonisation of inhabited palestinian territories.

This, is who Ariel Sharon was. There is no logical reason to mourn such a man.

did he really actually remove that many kebabs? (he certainly removed their non-built up land). and HE was almost destroyed by the egyptian army (it almost ruined his career).

I consider Sharon co-responsible for the massacres at Sabra and Shatila, and for a lot of other killings of non-combatants, that is, a war criminal. I must add, though, that at least later he tried to work for a peace agreement between Israel and Palestine.

This is mistaken. He actively tried to DISCOURAGE peace. He lit the match that sparked the 2nd intifada, deliberately installed Hamas in Gaza and gave them a fiefdom, created a separation between Gaza and the West Bank, built a de-facto concrete 'border' that will cost a lot to move, and associated settlement evacuations with national trauma in the minds of manistream israelis.

In fact, he has been the WORST person for trying to create peace.

Eichmann gets a yamach shemoh for being the architect of untold human suffering, the effects of which are still being felt to this day.
Sharon basically designed the entire current situation, which also results in a lot of suffering (albeit with far less casualties) to this very day.
He has literally done nothing good, and everyone would be better off if he had never existed.

The illusion of time and passage therewith can be manipulated as is seen fit, especially in regards to the punishment of the deathbed, so the blink of an eye may feel like eons, every breath is like a millennium, etc.

The problem is that it isn't between him and god, it's between US. He engineered the current conflict, and his crimes unfortunately do not die with him. The Jews have a useful phrase for men whose terrible legacies live on after their death.
