Because you have the right to decide who is native and who isn't.

As a native here- yeah, indeed.

Really? Since in the Koran (Written in the Middle Ages) this land is called Israel. And by the Ottomans: South Syria.
Only the Britons have decided to re-use the name "Palestine" used by the Romans in order to oppress the Jews after the Bar Kokhba revolt.

Once again, the name of the piece of land is as important as jack squat.

Under the Ottomans it was called Jerusalem though.

And my point is that the name you arbitrarily apply to a piece of dirt is not important.

Who are you to judge? Living in Europe/America and telling the entire world what to think and what is important or not??

Once again, I'm South East Asian. And once again, we are but fleeting, fledgeling pests scurrying over the primordial earth playing at king before plopping off one by one. What right do we have to claim land that belongs not only to the Earth but to the animals and plants and even other humans living in it?

Certainly. Which is why the "we're indigenous to the land" fails because I'm indigenous to North America. So is every other person born here.

Being native is about the population, the nation you are in- not where you are born, at least at most situations.

It is an example, an analogy. The Englishmen themselves are descendants of immigrants dating back at least one thousand and six hundred years ago. They were not the indigenous population, but imperialists (hell, colonists!).

Most Welsh have been in exile, but since its the past and it is now English land by right of conquest...
