I think the hypothetical here it started with N. Korea nuking Seuol. Which is far fetched. An artillery barrage, followed by ground invasion is more likely.

Seems plausible. North Korean military tactics have never interested me, so I can't contribute much to the specifics. I just remain firmly confident that a war, especially one instigated by North Korea, is so implausible that it need not be seriously considered outside of necessary contingencies.

But as i said the Resposibility would largely be on the South Korean Governments not us, and things would (hopefully) go more smoothly.
